WEST HOLLYWOOD—Actress Jessica Alba celebrated her 36th birthday on Friday, April 28, in West Hollywood. The birthday bash honored music icons, Michael Jackson and Prince.

The party took place at The Peppermint Club, where many celebrities showed up to partake in the 80s themed party. Guests included Beyoncé, Cameron Diaz, Jaime King, will.i.am, Nicole Richie, Russell Simmons, Rebecca Gayheart, and Shay Mitchell.

Also in attendance was Alba’s husband, Cash Warren. Warren posted to Instagram before the Michael Jackson vs. Prince Birthday Bash stating:

“I’ve spent the last few days wondering what to say to you on your birthday and I’ve come to realization that words aren’t enough. Words can’t describe the feelings I had when we first met. They can’t describe the thoughts that went through my head when you said ‘yes.’ They can’t describe my emotions when our daughters were born. They can’t describe the warmth in my heart when we hug. They can’t describe the joy when you make me laugh. They can’t describe how strong I feel when you hold my hand. They can’t describe how much I love loving you. Thank you for giving me a lifetime of experiences that I can’t describe with words. Happy Birthday my babe!!”

During the party, Alba took to Snapchat and posted her story of the night. The Michael Jackson vs. Prince Dance Party was a success for the actress.

Alba first started out as a 13-year-old actress in “Camp Nowhere” and “The Secret World of Alex Mack.” She later starred in the James Cameron directed TV series “Dark Angel.” She has starred in the films “Honey,” “Fantastic Four”, “Into the Blue,” “The Eye” and “Good Luck Chuck.”
