HOLLYWOOD HILLS—Joe Manganiello, 38, known for playing Alcide on True Blood, and a stripper in the upcoming Magic Mike XXL has sold his Hollywood Hills mansion for $1,925,000.
Manganiello’s 2,500 square foot house was built in 1963, and cost $1,806,000 when he originally bought it in 2013. He made a $125,000 profit on the sale, but it was less than what the actor wanted for the home, which was listed at $1,995,000 in April, according to the Los Angeles Times. He listed it with the help of listing agents Michael Nourmand and Adam Sires, of Nourmand & Associates.
The home is located in the Nicholson Canyon Area, a hillside neighborhood between Hollywood Boulevard and Mulholland Drive. It is a four bedroom, three bathroom home equipped with a luxurious pool, a fountain, landscaping detail, a wet bar, a remodeled kitchen, and two fireplaces.
Manganiello got engaged to Modern Family star Sophia Vergara in December of last year. According to Vergara’s interview with Ellen DeGeneres on May 4, the couple moved in together that same day. Vergara joked that one of her concerns with moving in with Manganiello was that he had too many books and she did not know where they were going to fit them.
The couple hasn’t announced a date for the wedding, but Vergara told US Magazine that they are planning a destination wedding, to make it easier for guests to attend.
