BEVERLY HILLS—The home of “Your Body is a Wonderland” singer John Mayer, 40, was burglarized on Friday, August 10. TMZ reported that the burglary resulted between $100,000 and $200,000 worth of property being taken from the singer’s Beverly Hills home.

The Los Angeles Police Department was notified about the robbery after one of Mayer’s security guards noticed a smashed window in one of the bedrooms inside the residence. Mayer was not home at the time of the break-in. According to reports, stolen items from the home included music equipment and Mayer’s watch collection. Authorities have not disclosed any details regarding suspects in the case.

Mayer purchased the home in May for $13.5 million from Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine. The 7,100 square foot home is equipped with five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a gym, and media room, People reported.

The singer has released a total of seven studio albums, his latest being “The Search for Everything” in 2017. He has won a total of six Grammy Awards including Song of the Year for “Daughters” in 2005.
