HOLLYWOOD—We are only in March, yet we have lost celebrities, that were just too young to die. Despite not knowing all celebrities personally, their work, art, songs and actions have had a meaningful impact on people’s lives. Hollywood deaths often immortalize the life of the actor or actress. Luke Perry at the age of 52, suffered a massive stroke at his home in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood in February 2019.

Luke Perry’s son, Jack, is taking some much-needed time off. The 21-year-old professional wrestler, who goes by the name “Jungle Boy,” pulled out of an upcoming show in the wake of his father’s sudden death. Bar Wrestling announced the news on March 5, on Twitter that read, “Unfortunately Jungle Boy will no longer be wrestling at our March 13th show. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family at this time.”

Jack, who has yet to publicly comment on his dad’s death, started pursing a wrestling career in high school. He had mentioned in the past to Sports Illustrated, that he didn’t want to use his father’s fame to be successful; he wanted to have his own success. Luke’s daughter, Sophie, 18, paid tribute to him on Instagram writing, “A lot has happened in this past week for me. Everything is happening so fast. I made it back from Malawi just in time to be here with my family. If fans didn’t already miss Luke Perry enough, Colin Hanks took to social media to recall the first time he met Perry.

Celebrities like, Molly Ringwald, Lili Reinhart, Charlie Sheen, Scott Foley, Ashley Tisdale, William Shatner, Donnie Wahlberg, Ryan Seacrest and many more, took to Twitter. Luke Perry’s net worth, at the time of his death was an estimated $10 million. His mysterious demeanor and smooth acting skills made him a fan favorite. He made his acting debut in a 1982 episode of the television series “Voyagers,” where he played a small role of a union prisoner. He also appeared on the daytime drama “Another World” from 1988-1989.His big break was playing Dylan McKay on the hit TV series “Beverly Hills, 90210.” The show ran from 1990 to 2000. Last month, Kristoff St. John, star of the CBS soap “The Young and the Restless” was found dead in is home in the San Fernando Valley on February 3, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed. St. John was 52 years old. The actor’s death came five years after his son, Julian St. John, with his ex-wife Mia St-John, committed suicide in a mental health facility in Long Beach, California.

On March 4, King Kong Bundy died at the age of 61. He broke into the WWE in the 1980s, finding success at the first Wrestlemania and challenging Hulk Hogan the following year. He left the company in the late 80s, but returned in 1994 as part of the Million Dollar Corporation. He was known by fans as the “walking condominium” due to his 6-foot-4 stature and weight of 458 pounds. Also on March 4, Keith Flint, the Prodigy front-man died by suicide at the age of 49. Actress Lisa Sheridan “Hail and Catch Fire,” passed away last month at the age of 44. Her cause of death is not known. Friends of the actress-she starred as Larkin Groves on “Invasion” from 2005-2006-shared the news on social media, including actress Donna D’Errico, who worked with Sheridan in the 2015 film “Only God Can.”
