MALIBU — Justin Bieber has been accused of throwing raw eggs at a next-door neighbor’s house at the 25000 block of Prado Del Grandioso in Calabasas on Thursday, January 9. At 7:40 p.m., police responded to a report of vandalism, though Bieber, 19, was not present when they arrived; there was someone near the house at the time. No one was harmed during the alleged attack.

The incident occurred next to Bieber’s $6.5 million mansion, which he had purchased two years ago and is located in the Oaks, a private, gated community about 30 miles west of downtown Los Angeles. The area is notable for housing a number of celebrities, including Michael Jackson’s mother and children.

According to reports, Bieber has refused to talk to authorities about the incident. If officials discover evidence that Bieber threw the eggs, they could refer the matter to the district attorney and Bieber could be prosecuted for a misdemeanor vandalism charge or a misdemeanor assault charge, if it is proven his intent was to throw the eggs at a person. If the repair of the house costs over $950, the singer could be charged for felony vandalism.

This is not Bieber’s first brush with the law. In March, a neighbor accused Bieber of threatening and spitting on him outside of his house during an altercation, but no charges followed.  In May, two other neighbors accused Bieber of speeding down residential streets, and he refused to speak to authorities about the matter.  A report has been taken regarding the incident and as investigation is currently underway.
