BEVERLY HILLS —”Y&R” star Kate Linder is always offering her helping hand for charity. Kate travels around the world supporting causes that are close to her heart. However, this time she’ll be appearing right here in Beverly Hills for an event that means so much to her. Recently Linder told Canyon News, “It was an honor to be recognized by the St. Louis Chapter of the ALS Association during their 25th Anniversary Gala. My biggest wish is that the next celebration will be when a cure is found. The award really belongs to all who are fighting this horrific disease.” Now the beautiful star is planning on making a difference locally. Linder is often seen downtown at homeless shelters feeding the homeless or volunteering to help battered women and children. Please come out and support Kate in her latest mission.

The night was created to raise funds to treat and find a cure for ALS.WHO: Kate Linder [Esther Valentine of “The Young and the Restless”] will host the 1st Annual Celebrity Charity Gala to benefit The ALS Association Greater Los Angeles Chapter. Linder has been the national celebrity spokesperson for The ALS Association for five years since her brother-in-law was diagnosed with the disease. Linder travels to Washington, DC to lobby Congress for more funds to find a cure for the disease each May. The event is an Emerging Magazine Celebrity Production.
