NEWPORT BEACH—Erik Kendricks keeps piling-up the hardware.

Having already been given the Butkus award as the nation’s top linebacker, UCLA’s senior inside linebacker was awarded the Lott IMPACT Trophy at Sunday Night’s annual awards banquet.

The award, named for NFL Hall-of-Fame safety Ronnie Lott, is given to the college defensive player with the greatest impact on their team now. Ironically, Lott played his college football at crosstown USC.

The award, in its 11th year, has now been won by a Bruin in back-to-back seasons, as former UCLA linebacker and current Minnesota Vikings standout Anthony Barr it in 2013.
