MALIBU—On Sunday, October 21, Los Angeles Magazine will host its 13th annual The Food Event. The event will take place at Saddlerock Ranch in the Malibu Hills from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and is open to all guests over the age of 21 with the purchase of an event ticket.

The event will feature samplings from 40 of L.A.’s top restaurants, boutique wine, spirit tastings, and more. Live cooking demonstrations will be lead by celebrity chefs: David Kuo of Little Fatty, Gaby Mlynarczyk of Accomplice Bar, Kris Tominaga of Manuela, Phillip Frankland Lee of Scratch Bar & Kitchen, and Richard Blais of the Crack Shack.

The Bellwether, 6th and La Brea, Bone Kettle, Casa Vega, Cookie Dough Dreams, Dana, Eataly, and Fat Dragon are a few of the 40 restaurants chosen for the event. Guests will be able to enjoy beverages provided by 24 vendors from Bai, Golden Road, Beekeeper Cellars, Hornitos, and Malibu Family Wines to name a few. The primary sponsor of the event is Infiniti.

The Food Event 2018 is held outdoors and limited tickets are available. Tickets can be purchased on lamag.com/thefoodevent2018. The price of The Food Event ticket is $130. For an additional cost of $20, guests have the option of purchasing access to The Food Event After-Party. The after party will be held at Malibu Café following The Food Event and is restricted to guests 21 years and older.
