BEVERLY HILLS—The 31st edition of the Los Angeles Marathon is back for the 2016 installment to take place on Sunday, February 14, and will be passing through the city of Beverly Hills.

The marathon, also known as “Stadium to the Sea,” will begin at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, pass through West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Century City, and finish near the Santa Monica Pier.

The race will run from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m, with the first athletes (wheelchairs/hand-cycles) expected to arrive in Beverly Hills at around 7:00 a.m. and runners to arrive around 7:30 a.m.

Over 25,000 participants are expected to pass through the city where they will enter at Doheny Drive/Santa Monica Boulevard run west on Burton Way to Rodeo Drive, south to Wilshire, and then west to Santa Monica Boulevard (see map below). Street closures will occur adjacent to the route from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

There will be parking access to the general public at the following locations:

  • 450 N. Crescent Drive
  • 221 N. Crescent Drive
  • 450 N. Rexford Drive
  • 241 Canon Drive (Next to Montage Hotel)
  • Santa Monica structures at Beverly, Rodeo Drive and Santa Monica Blvd

For any spectators or public that will be arriving in Beverly Hills by Freeway, it is suggested that they follow these routes:

  • Beverly Hills access north of the race route – arriving from the North on 405 Freeway, exit either Sunset Boulevard, or Wilshire Boulevard and travel east to Beverly Hills
  • Beverly Hills access south of the race route – from south on the 405 Freeway, take 10 Freeway East, and exit Robertson Boulevard driving north
