SANTA MONICA—The Los Angeles Fire Department rescued an injured mountain biker in the Santa Monica Mountains on September 7 at around 11:00 a.m.

Canyon News reached out to LAFD Spokesperson Brian Humphrey for more information on the incident.

Humphrey was not allowed to divulge any information about the mountain biker who was rescued, but he did confirm the biker was conscious when he was air lifted out from the Santa Monica Mountains He didn’t have any major serious injures, but he was brought to the nearest hospital once he was rescued where he was treated.
