WEST HOLLYWOOD—The city of West Hollywood and the LarkGallery Online opened up the exhibit “Know Your Roots” on February 12. The gallery is meant to display and celebrate culture over an ethnically diverse and multi-generational background in West Hollywood.
According to the city of West Hollywood, some of the art shows backgrounds from Armenia, Austria, Germany, Iran, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Poland,Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and the United States.
Viewing the artwork is free to the public; the exhibit will be open to the public until April 27. Some of the artwork at the “Know Your Roots” exhibit will be available for purchase at the LarkGallery Online website.
The exhibit will be located in a pop-up gallery space at 7362 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA. In accordance with the exhibition, the LarkGarllery Online will be holding workshops for adults and children that focus on music, poetry, history, and inter-generational and cultural art documentation.
