Leonardo DiCaprio Leasing Malibu Home

MALIBU—Actor Leonardo DiCaprio is officially leasing his Malibu beachfront property.

The home, located on Carbon Beach, an exclusive locale also known as “Billionaire’s Beach,” is available for for the price of $23,000-per-month during the off-season and $50,000 during the summer.

According to Forbes Magazine, the Carbon Beach area is also occupied by former Los Angeles Dodgers CEO Jamie McCourt and DreamWorks SKG founder David Geffen.

In 2013, DiCaprio sold a different Malibu property for $17.35 million, a home he had previously been leasing for as much as $150,000-per-month.

Known for starring roles in hits such as “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape,” “Titanic,” “Catch me if you Can,” and “The Wolf of Wall Street,” DiCaprio originally purchased the property in 1998 for $1.6 million.

Seventeen years later, the star is cashing in on an investment that is currently estimated to be worth $15 million.
