MALIBU—The city of Malibu has hired a new consultant to serve as a Rebuild Coordinator to residents impacted by the Woolsey Fire in November 2018. They will assist victims of the fire in completing all construction permit applications upon approval of an applicant’s building plans.

According to official documentation released by the city Malibu, the Rebuild Coordinator is available to meet in person at Malibu City Hall. They will assist property owners and their representatives with securing approvals of building plans from all City Departments and outside agencies after projects have been approved by the Planning Department.

The Rebuild Coordinator is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to meet with applicants and to make appointments for them to meet one-on-one with City Department specialists.
