MALIBU—The city of Malibu will host an insurance workshop with California Insurance Commissioner, Ricardo Lara on January 30, 2020 to assist community members with their wildfire claims. The workshop will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Malibu City Hall located at 23825 Stuart Ranch Rd.

Community members with insurance related questions or comments are encouraged to attend to the workshop. The workshop will discuss common insurance issues, questions regarding future insurance planning, and displacement concerns.

A town hall meeting will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by free, confidential, one-on-one appointments with thr Insurance Department staff from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
