MALIBU – A new dining establishment, the Malibu Pier Restaurant & Bar will open on May 15, at the Malibu Pier. The restaurant and bar will consist of two separate buildings, each with the ability to seat 120.

 

The Executive Chef for Malibu Pier Restaurant & Bar is none other than Jason Fullilove, of whom Chef DB describes, “A passion for the culinary arts has taken Chef Jason Fullilove from his home in Ohio to the glitz and glamour of New York, the rhythms and spices of the Caribbean and now to the fresh food capital of the universe: California.”

 

Chef Fullilove was also previously Executive Chef for Los Angeles County Museum of Art and Menu Development Chef at Campanile.

 

He has created a menu for Malibu Pier that will change daily, with produce coming from only local and sustainable sources. The menu will consist mostly of seafood dishes, though there will be pasta, chicken, and steak options for non-seafood diners.
