BEVERLY HILLS—Marlon Andrino, 28, of Ontario was arrested Thursday, July 2 at 1 p.m., in relation to the July 1 anti-vaccination vandalism incident.

Andrino defaced the front of the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce building by spray-painting anti-SB 277 slews. The suspect fled the scene by the time the Beverly Hills Police Department responded to reports at around 3:40 p.m.

Andrino’s has been charged with several counts of felony vandalism with bail set at $80,000.

Further investigations found that the Hollywood City Hall was disfigured with graffiti in a similar style, in addition to a couple of locations along the Santa Monica Freeway.

SB 277 law states the following:

“Existing law prohibits the governing authority of a school or other institution from unconditionally admitting any person as a pupil of any public or private elementary or secondary school, child care center, day nursery, nursery school, family day care home, or development center, unless prior to his or her admission to that institution he or she has been fully immunized against various diseases, including measles, mumps, and pertussis, subject to any specific age criteria.”
