WEST HOLLYWOOD—Jose Emanuel Raselbach was arrested for allegedly stabbing his father to death and injuring his mother and sister on Sunday, July 10 in West Hollywood.
Officials from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were first to arrive on the scene of the 8700 block of Shoreham Drive at 10:30 p.m. Upon arrival, one man was found dead by a single stab wound and two women were found suffering from multiple stab wounds.
One of the victims has been identified as the suspect’s sister, who was hospitalized in critical condition. The other victim, the suspect’s mother was treated for her injuries and released from the hospital. The knife used in the stabbing was recovered at the scene, the LASD reported.
Raselbach, 34, is being held on a $2 million bond. A motive for the stabbing has not yet been disclosed. Anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to contact the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500
