HOLLYWOOD—Authorities are searching for the suspects responsible for fatally stabbing a man in a Hollywood parking lot on Wednesday, April 22.

The victim’s body was discovered at around 9 a.m. near the 1700 block of North Cherokee Avenue. He is described as a male in his late 20s. The boy was found near the Musso & Frank Grill restaurant and near Hollywood High School.

Lt. John Jenal from the Los Angeles Police Department noted that the stabbing was the result of a dispute between two individuals that escalated. Authorities noted that the suspect fled the scene in a 2005 Ford F150. The vehicle is dark brown with black rims and had the North Carolina license plate CJL5472.

A motive for the stabbing has not yet been revealed to the public. Detectives believe that it is possible that more than one person could be involved in the stabbing incident, but as of press time police are looking at one suspect, who is described as a black male in his 20s.

Anyone with information on the stabbing is asked to contact the LAPD at 877-LAPD-247.
