SHERMAN OAKS — Sam Farrar of Maroon 5 invested $1,659,000 on his new home in Sherman Oaks. The house is complete with outdoor pool and a remodeled kitchen.

The house is beautifully designed on the inside with huge windows giving it an airy and welcoming feel. A thick shield of tall, leafy green vegetation keeps it discreet providing privacy.

The total built up area of the house is 1953 square and is constructed on a property of 2272 square feet. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an office area, a hallway line with built-ins and the recently redesigned dining room has a floor to ceiling stone fireplace.

The backyard of the house has a small covered patio that gives way to a huge private yard and swimming pool.

Situated at the top of the street, this house has great treetop and mountain views. This traditional one story house is located at 13308 Valley Vista Blvd, Sherman Oaks, California.

The property was listed by Joey and Jeanne Valvo of Core Real Estate Group. Tori Horowitz of Compass represented the buyer.

Farrar is an L.A. native who is best known for his work in the bands like Phantom Planet and Maroon 5.

On his website the musician says he started playing for Maroon 5 in 2012 and functions as their utility guy, “I play samples, keys, acoustic, percussion and sing some background vocals,” he writes.

The 42-year-old has also recorded music with Sara Bareilles and Andy Grammer and the pop-rock band Hanson.
