BEVERLY HILLS—The city of Beverly Hills is inviting the community to meet the current mayor during a Rooftop Community Event on Wednesday, May 23. Residents will be able to meet Beverly Hills Mayor Julian Gold, MD at the Rooftop Terrace located at 400 S. Santa Monica Blvd. (Chamber and CVB building). The event will start at 4 p.m.

All residents and businesses are welcome to meet face-to-face with Mayor Gold to help engage in discussions and shape a vision for Beverly Hills. Light refreshments will be provided. Mayor Gold was selected chosen as the new mayor for the city on March 20. John A. Mirisch will serve as Vice Mayor.

Both will serve the roles for the next year. The mayor and vice mayor positions are elected each year by the City Council; the vice mayor customarily becomes the mayor.  Councilmembers are elected at-large to four-year terms. A second event to meet Mayor Gold will be held on Sunday, June 24 at the Beverly Canon Gardens starting at 3 p.m.

Free parking is available at the Crescent Drive Structure, 450 N. Crescent Drive. Validations provided at the event. For additional details call (310) 285-1014 or visit www.beverlyhills.org/meetthemayor.
