BEVERLY HILLS—Closures went into effect on Friday, September 8 for 17 full weekends of work for the Wilshire/La Cienega station construction for the Metro Purple Line.
PHASE I (La Cienega/Wilshire Station) will commence full closure for construction beginning at 8 p.m. on Fridays and continue through Mondays at 6 a.m.
-Work will occur 24/7 during the closures.
-Building access in the construction areas will be maintained, but some sidewalk closures and pedestrian detours should be anticipated.
-There will be detours for traffic and Metro buses during the 17 full weekend closures. For additional info needed on bus detours call 323.GOMETRO (323-466-3876).
-The bus detours will follow the street detours — look for signage about stop locations. There will be stops on the detours very close to Wilshire.
