SAN DIEGO—The San Diego Police revealed that three children and their mother were found dead inside their home on Saturday, November 16, just before 7 a.m. in the 2100 block of Flintridge Drive in Paradise Hill. Authorities have classified the deaths as a murder-suicide; the result of a divorce dispute with her husband. One of the victims shot, was an 11-year-old boy, he was rushed to the hospital and listed in critical condition.

Lt. Matt Dobbs of the SDPD  indicated that officers were called on the scene after receiving a 911 call, the came from one of the residents inside the home. A second 911 call was made from a relative in the neighborhood who reported that they could hear an argument and a noise that sounded like gunshots.

Officers knocked on the front door, but after receiving no response they went to the back of the home and from the window, they spotted one of the children on the floor soaked in blood, LT. Dobbs indicated during a press conference.

Officers broke a window in an attempt to rescue the injured child, once inside they discovered the mother and the father dead from gunshot wounds.
Investigators indicated that the father, 31, shot himself in the head.

“It appears to be a tragic case of domestic violence, the woman had recently obtained a restraining order against her husband and the couple had been living apart for some time,” said Lt. Dobbs during a news conference.

The names of the victims have not been disclosed to the public.
