HELLO AMERICA!—Don’t be shocked by the shenanigans and unbridled actions of some of our new Tinseltown stars because it has always been that way in the motion picture industry. To name a few, there were stars like Fatty Arbuckle, Charlie Chaplin, Jean Harlow, John Barrymore and tons of others who hit the entertainment headlines time and time again.

In the last few weeks we have been barraged with news about “ America’s Got Talent” host Nick Cannon splitting up with singing star wife Mariah Carey. He rented an apartment and brazenly began dating model Jasmine Sanders who some claim is a look-alike of his famous wife.

When approached about the breakup, Cannon simply said, “That’s how it is. If something doesn’t work, don’t pretend that it does.”  As for Carey, she quickly lets you know how she feels. The Diva’s response to questions about the split has been, “Nick needs to grow up!”

When talking with close friends of the couple, no one seemed surprised by the big breakup between Cannon and Carey. One of Cannon’s close friends with whom he had appeared in a film before meeting Carey didn’t hesitate to express his opinion about the breakup.

“It was like being in high school,” the friend offered, “Mariah was the girl to conquer. And she found him ambitious, charming and very aggressive. In her mind, she was the princess that most men would die to be with.”

However, like most high school romances, those feelings quickly wear off and one searches for another kind of conquest or thrill. Others noted that Nick has the need to be recognized as a major name and star in the industry. He still hungers to star in a film that will put him safely on the Hollywood A-list.

Cannon has a few million bucks in the bank, he has two beautiful kids by Carey and he is seen by millions of people as host of a very popular show each week. “The more he achieves,” an associate of his noted, “the more he wants. Nick has always been that kind of guy, always looking for another challenge.”

As for the new love in Cannon’s life, his friends laugh and warn that it would not be a good bet in believing that Jasmine Sanders is “the” one. Should we mark it up as being “Show Biz?”
