LOS FELIZ—Los Angeles City Council member Mitch O’Farrell of the 13th District has agreed to assist a homeless outreach program in Echo Park and Silver Lake known as People Assisting the Homeless (PATH).
PATH’s purpose is to provide care for homeless individuals who need help. Echo Park and Silver
Lake will receive help from the 13th district with a two-year contract for $75k to help combat homelessness in the area.
State Assembly member Tom Ammiano (D-San Francisco) created a legislature which allows the homeless to move to their desired areas and to sleep in public spaces.
Tad Yenawine claimed the Greater Park Elysian Neighborhood Council (GEPEN) approved support for the statewide initiative, “The Homeless Bill of Rights.”
