UNITED STATES—A Will County family called authorities when they discovered the fetal remains of over 2,000 aborted infants in the estate of recently deceased former abortionist, Ulrich, “George” Klopfer.

According to a press release from the Will County Coroner’s Office, the family’s attorney on contacted authorities to remove the bodies of aborted babies on September 3.

Will County Sheriff’s detectives and the coroner’s office met crime scene investigators at an undisclosed, unincorporated address, where 2,246 medically preserved fetal remains were located. The Will County Coroner’s Office took possession of the human remains. The family is cooperating with authorities.

Ulrich has reportedly been called the states “Most Prolific Abortionist,” performing abortions in other areas. A majority of abortions took place at the Women’s Pavilion in South Bend, and in Gary and Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Ulrich reportedly performed abortions in the South Bend  area for four decades.  According to reports, Ulrich may have performed up to 30,000 abortions.

In a public interview, Ulrich stated:

“Women get pregnant. Men don’t.  We need to respect women making a decision they think is best in their life.  I’m not here to dictate to anybody. I’m not here to judge anybody.”

Ulrich, “George” Klopfer.

The Ft. Wayne Women’s Health Organization and the Indiana Abortion Center where Klopfer performed abortions were owned by Susan Hill who owned a string of abortion facilities at the time.

According to the WatchDog group, Operation Rescue, Klopfer was found guilty of thousands of violations.

The Medical Licensing Board of Indiana filed an administrative complaint against Klopfer on September 17, 2014, with accusations of over 1,800 violations that took place between July 2012 and September 2013. The allegations reported by Operation Rescue pertained to the intentional omissions on the reporting of suspected sex crimes against children.

Two of the reported abuses involved failure to report sexual misconduct of a 13-year-old who the parents admitted was raped by an uncle they chose not to file charges against. The child was sent back home with the parents. In a similar report, the person who received the abortion was a 10-year-old child. For a child to receive an abortion, the doctor performing the abortion must legally report the sexual abuse of a child.

Indiana Right to Life filed complaints on Klopfer after receiving hundreds of pregnancy termination reports from the Indiana State Department of Health through the Freedom of Information Act.
