SAN FRANCISCO—On Wednesday, June 18, San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) officers executed a search warrant in Oakland that yielded $52,589, and five pounds of narcotics, 4.87 pounds of which was fentanyl. The operation occurred in the 3100 block of Martin Luther King Way. Officers arrested four suspects and confiscated scales and drug packaging materials.

The following Oakland residents were arrested on drug-related charges and had active outstanding warrants from other areas:

Delvin Danel Barahona-Centeno, 52

Daniela Nairoby Hernandez-Barahona, 20

Jhonatan Santiago Dias, 20

Gutavo Benjamin Chavezmeza, 31


On June 20, SFPD Acting Chief Paul Yep issued the following statement:

“I want to thank our officers for getting this massive haul of drugs off our streets. These drugs were destined for San Francisco, and operations like these make a significant impact on keeping our city safe and clean. I want to thank our law enforcement partners for their exceptional work on this investigation.”

The SFPD Narcotics Division, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the California Highway Patrol Task Force, and the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office worked jointly on this operation.

On June 17, the same operation seized over 380 grams of narcotics and arrested 25 people in a drug bust in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco.

“The work is part of the SFPD Drug Market Agency Coordination Center (DMACC), which launched in May 2023. SFPD has seized over 332 kilos of narcotics since DMACC launched, including 140 kilos of fentanyl.
