WESTWOOD—A water pipe break in Westwood flooded streets on January 21.

A Los Angeles Fire Department truck responded to a report of the water main break and flooding in the 1600 block of Selby Avenue,  said Erik Scott of the LAFD at about 3:15 p.m.

The city’s Department of Transportation was on scene to help with a road closure, Scott said.

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power was called about the flooding around 3 p.m. to replace a 6-inch pipe that broke at Selby and Massachusetts. Crews had the pipe fixed within a few hours.
