WOODLAND HILLS—Affordable movie tickets for family friendly movies are available in the Woodland Hills area. Regal Cinemas will be offering $1 tickets for popular G and PG rated movies as a part of their Summer Movie Express Series. The $1 movies will be screened on Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the summer at 10 a.m. from June 11 to August 15.

The theatres will be showing movies including “Despicable Me,” “Small Foot,” “House With A Clock In Its Walls,” “Secret Life Of Pets,” “Paddington 2,” “Turbo,” and much more.

“The Secret Life Of Pets” came out in 2016 and is a 3D computer-animated comedy film. The film is about the lives pets live after we humans leave for work or school each day. It was the sixth-highest grossing film in 2016 and it grossed $875 million worldwide. The movie stars Louis C.K. as the main character Max the terrier, Kevin Hart as Snowball, and Dana Carvey as Pops.

“Despicable Me” is an adventure-comedy that came out in 2010. The film is about an evil villain named “Gru” who has a sinister plan to steal the moon. Gru surrounds himself with an army of his little yellow minions and an arsenal of weapons assuring that nothing will stand in his way. Three little orphan girls try to make Gru their dad and Gru ultimately finds that their love changes him profoundly.

“Small Foot” was released in 2018 and is about a friendly Yeti named Migo who discovers something he did not believe was real which is the existence of the human or “small foot.” Migo soon is banished from his frozen home and embarks on a journey to prove the existence of the small foot.
