LOS ANGELES—President Obama is returning to Los Angeles for the 18th time, since being elected into office. On July 23, he will speak at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser and reception dinner at the home of television producer Shonda Rhimes.
The events co-chair will include Kerry Washington, the star of the ABC drama “Scandal.” Tickets for the event are beginning at $1,000. For $10,000, attendees can attend the reception and a photo opportunity with the President.
For $32,400, the maximum contribution allowed to a national party committee in a calendar year, allows an individual to receive recognition on the invitation, act as a co-host and attend dinner with President Obama and take a photo.
