HOLLYWOOD—Ezra’s (Ian Harding) mean streak continued to this week in “Bite Your Tongue,” as the liars began to speculate the evil intentions of “A.” They have become quite scared of their tormentor compared to previous seasons; he’s out for blood, which means really bad things could happen to our ladies or the people they care about if they are not careful.

Aria (Lucy Hale) attempted to talk some sense into Emily (Shay Mitchell) about her relationship with Spencer (Troian Bellisario). Aria unleashed a bit of anger on Mike (Cody Christian) about his unexpected shindig.  Spencer continued to decipher clues from Alison’s diary and informed Hanna (Ashley Benson) about her instincts. Hanna came up with a genius idea of going back to Ali’s grave to uncover more clues.

Aria was not pleased to find Mona (Janel Parrish) in her bedroom. Doesn’t look good for Mona, it appears she’s up to something and the liars are onto the nefarious one. Just when we think Mona has ‘reformed’ she goes back to the dark side. Big sis did her best to knock some sense into her younger brother.  Emily showed a bit of apprehension to her father who did his best to reason with her. Maggie returned to Rosewood to speak with Ezra, as he caught himself as Aria popped into the classroom. Hmm, Mr. Fitz is indeed making mistakes left and right. This was an episode of returns as Detective Holbrook (Sean Faris) ran into Hanna while she was searching for new novels to read.  Jesus, Hanna drops Caleb and she has guys falling for her left and right.

Emily learned that “A” killed her car last week in the woods, and Spencer did her best to attempt to reconcile with her friend who was apprehensive.  Mona attempted to cozy up to Mike, but Aria was none too pleased with the situation and forced our outspoken liar to deal with it. Mona had a secret meeting with Mona, which means these two are up to no good in my opinion. Hanna got an interesting clue about teeth when it comes to examining bodies. Why didn’t I think about this?

“Mona is the Devil,” shouted out Aria to the new guidance counselor. He did his best to get her to join the group. Wow, Aria had a lot of great lines this episode. Ezra sent a text to someone regarding a “setback with Alison.” Any guesses as to whom he was texting? This is a sign that he is working with someone, perhaps an even bigger threat. Spencer reacquainted with Andrew in an attempt to get some information from her academic friend.  No, is Spencer going over to the dark-side again, this time taking pills. A flashback scene between Alison and the older guy that she met helped Spencer further decipher clues; Ali even shared a kiss with the guy.

Spencer begged Hanna to come with her on a lead, just as Hanna realized that a visit to dentist office could further help them locate the identity of “A” once and for all.  Aria ran into Maggie and had a confrontation that led to a bit of arm grabbing. It looks like Ezra’s evil intentions are rubbing off on Aria.  Aria’s week went from bad to worse when she noticed her brother sucking face with Mona. Spence was surprised to run into Mr. Fitz at the secret bar that Alison frequented to visit her older crush. Our little detective discovered the major bombshell, Mr. Fitz is “A!” The pie was a dead ringer, but the beer was the nail in the coffin, ‘Board Shorts Ale.’ What will she do with this information?

Hanna got the goods from the file room at the dentist office, but was unaware that she was being watched and was put to sleep by an evil party. Emily’s paranoia continued to get the bet of her, as she was certain someone was stalking her at the school. It was indeed a tense moment as someone cloaked in a black hoodie did their best to scare her to death, causing her father serious harm. She learned that her father’s heart is in bad condition. Whoever was behind that attack has little to no mercy for the liars or the people they care about.

Spencer and Emily had a heart-to-heart in the midst of a horrible tragedy, just as Hanna informed the ladies that she may have been treated by “A.” “Who is this monster,” shouted Aria! Just as Spencer gave her the coy look that it’s your boy-toy, LOL.  Spencer retrieved a message from “A” inside Hanna’s mouth that stated “I told you dead girls can’t smile. Stop looking,” A.  The final moments saw “A” shredding the document that Hanna retrieved from the dentist’s office and left the scrapings underneath Alison’s pet parrot, who continued to call him board shorts. The camera then zoomed in on a map depicting Cape May and Wilden’s yacht.

Can’t wait for next week’s episode as Spencer reveal her discover to Emily about Mr. Fitz. Things look dangerous.  Until next week “PLL” fanatics!
