LOS ANGELES—The Los Angeles Rams will face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, October 9, at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

After an embarrassing week one shutout at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers, the Rams have found success behind their dominant defense and suitable quarterback play from Case Keenum. Rams Head Coach Jeff Fisher explained how he kept his team confident after their disappointing season opener.

“My mindset was really simple. It was a Monday night game, and earlier that weekend, 15 other teams had lost … and a lot of them were good football teams. That was the message to our team — that we’re just one of the 16 teams that lost our opener. I told them, ‘We’re a good football team.’ We put it behind us as quick as we could,” said Fisher.

Since their season opener the Rams have gone on a tear. Now 3-1, Los Angeles has become the surprise of the league, leading the NFC West. Star running-back Todd Gurley looks to have a breakout performance on Sunday, as he has failed to have a significant game this season, averaging just 54 yards per game. Prized rookie and number one overall pick, Jared Goff, is not expected to play in the game.

The Bills look to continue their two-game winning streak, hoping to break the .500 mark as their record currently sits at 2-2.
