LOS ANGELES—On October 11, a mandatory evacuation order was put into place by authorities for 100,000 California residents in the Greater Los Angeles area because of wildfires that spread throughout the area.

One of those residents included in the evacuation was Los Angeles Rams star, Todd Gurley. Gurley tweeted on Friday, “Mandatory Evacuation.”

Other Rams players impacted by the growing fire included Safety John Johnson III and Samson Ehukam Line Backer for the Rams’ Team, as noted by Rams Coash Sean McVay during a press conference.

According to Michel Moore Police Chief of the Los Angeles Police Department, two people were killed as a result of the wildfires and over 25 homes have been damaged, and the evacuation affected the homes of 20,000 residents in the area.
