HOLLYWOOD—At around 8:45 p.m. on January 16,  Kameron Segal, 48, a real estate President, was shot while sitting in his Rolls Royce near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Gardner Street.

Segal is the president and CEO of William Holdings Property Management & Acquisitions and earned a reputation for his prolific real estate portfolio.

Although the investigation is still ongoing, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison told Canyon News that “What we know is that [Segal] was in his vehicle, which was parked in the rear of a store, and a male, black suspect rode up and shot him in his car—and one of the bullets went through his neck. He was then transported to local hospital and last we know he was in critical condition. There is no more further information available.”

Other reports indicate that Segal is in critical, but stable condition at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.

The suspect is described as an African-American male between 30 and 40 years old, about 5 feet 6 inches to 6 feet tall, wearing a backpack and riding a dark-colored, 10-speed bicycle.

The suspect is still on the loose. A $10,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the gunman.

Anyone with information on the shooting was asked to contact Los Angeles Police Department Detective Kevin Becker at (213) 972-2967.
