BEVERLY HILLS—Reality TV star Earvin “EJ” Johnson III, 27, was unharmed in a collision that totaled his black SUV Lamborghini at an intersection in Beverly Hills involving another driver in a white Audi on Sunday, August 11.
The Beverly Hills Police Department reported both vehicles sustained severe damage where airbags were deployed. EJ’s Lamborghini has an estimated retail value of over $200,000.
No injuries were sustained during the crash and authorities did not report any signs of intoxication from either driver. EJ waited on the sidewalk for the Beverly Hills Fire Department. The case is under investigation by the BHPD, no further details about the incident has been disclosed to the public.
Johnson is known for his androgynous fashionista socialite personality on E! News covering segments of New York Fashion Week, and other trending style topics such as #teamthis on Instagram @ejjohnson.
In 2014, he was cast in the reality series “Rich Kids of Beverly Hills” which aired for four seasons before it was cancelled. The star created his own spin-off “EJ New York City” (EJNYC) which premiered on June 19, 2016 showcasing the first black LGBTQ person of color on the E! cable network.
Johnson III, is the son of retired Los Angeles Lakers basketball star Magic Johnson who played for the Lakers for 13 seasons before his retirement on November 7, 1991, where he announced that he was HIV positive.
