HOLLYWOOD—On last week’s episode Emily (Emily VanCamp) divulged to Nolan (Gabriel Mann) and Jack (Nick Wechsler) her plan to implement Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) for the ‘murder’ of Emily Thorne.  This week’s episode, “Resurgence” saw Emily confide with Aiden (Barry Sloane) of her fears of losing all the people close to her in her quest for revenge. Nothing new in the Grayson manner, as Conrad (Henry Czerny) and Victoria traded spars over Patrick’s misdeeds. Was this couple ever happily married?

Victoria and Emily were not thrilled with Conrad’s new PR assistant, Busy Preston (Ana Ortiz) who planned to make a change to ‘revitalize’ the Grayson image. Jack decided to get back into the dating ring by asking Margaux out on a date, just as Emily played catch up with Nolan about the new PR lady.  He revealed a bit of a back story of how Busy was responsible for the divide between him and his father. Nolan holding a grudge, it can’t be right?

It appears Daniel (Joshua Bowman) has eyes for Sarah; looks like both the bride and groom to be are more interested in other people than each other. Busy quickly ate up the news of Emily being previously ‘hitched;’ Emily sure has a way of making people ‘believe’ what she wants them to.  Jack and Margaux enjoyed a romantic evening that included a few more kisses, but Jack held back. Is his feelings for Emily resurging, it sure looks like it. Jack confided in Nolan that he couldn’t bring himself to get close to Margaux out of fear. I was a bit surprised to see Conrad visiting Margaux to ask for assistance in the PR world.  She even asked him to be willing to dig deep to unveil a story that the public would least expect. It was indeed an awkward lunch date with Busy, Victoria and Emily, as Aiden interrupted the soiree.

The Queen Bee threw her lavish Fourth of July celebration, unaware of the surprises that would be in store for her, like a run-in with Daniel’s former flame. Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) devised a clever plan of using Sarah as a way of dividing Emily and Daniel. Poor Charlotte, little does she know she’ll be stabbing a knife into the back of her own flesh in blood.  Nolan reacquainted himself with Busy and her husband; little did she know Nolan had bigger plans in store for her.

Jack paid a visit to the grave of ‘Amanda Clarke’ to acknowledge letting go of the past and moving forward.  Nolan and Busy chatted up a ton, just as Emily and Nolan’s latest plan took action. Technology is indeed something that will continue to get us all in trouble; with the insurgence of the Google Eyewear, one can’t complain, it might give people some ideas!

Margaux got chummy with Conrad about the news that he would be writing a memoir, and informing him of her interest to have the publishing rights to his book. News got even better for Margaux, as Jack decided to make the first move to building a relationship. Daniel got cozy with an ex that caused a bit of concern for Emily to say the least. There won’t be a wedding if the groom has feelings for someone else. Nolan got the goods on Busy, just as the audience was treated to a hot and heavy moment between Jack and Margaux.Victoria dropped a bombshell on Aiden by ridding herself of his services; bad move, bad move Vicky, it will come back to haunt you.

Emily informed Aiden to disappear for awhile and to return to the canvas once the dust settles.  Jack and Margaux do look good together, but his concerns were raised when he discovered she may be working alongside Conrad Grayson. Nolan delivered Busy a taste of her own medicine; she was not too pleased to learn that she had been ‘betrayed’ to say the least. Looks like Nolan is transforming to his BFF, Emily. It’s quite scary to say the least.Victoria chose to offer a proposition to Sarah about helping her take down Emily Thorne.

Nolan and Emily chatted over a glass of wine about their friendship, a bit of honesty to say the least. He informed Emily of some distressing news involving Daniel and Sarah.  I can only imagine what our heroine will do to ensure her wedding plans go as planned. Until next Sunday “Revenge” lovers!
