ROCHESTER-On May 18, the Rochester Institute of Technology, a school for the deaf in New York, plans to host the 2014 Walk to Cure Diabetes.

 

Anyone interested in participating has the option of registering online to be a part of a team or to be a solo walker. Registered walkers must register on campus on Lomb Memorial Drive at 9 a.m. in the morning.

 

The walk will start at 10 a.m., and is scheduled to be three miles long. Participants are also encouraged to donate online as well to help RIT reach its goal of $561,677 in donations for this event.
