RIVERSIDE—On September 24, the Riverside Deaf Seniors will be celebrating “Deaf Awareness Day.”

 

The event is meant for both deaf, hard of hearing and hearing audiences. The celebration can be beneficial to hearing attendees who wish to learn more about the deaf community and the deaf culture through the eight or more vendor booths that will be in attendance at the event; this includes a video display and more. Assistive devices will also be available for the hearing impaired.

Riverside. It will run from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
