BEVERLY HILLS—The City of Beverly Hills has appointed Ryan Gohlich as the City Planner/Assistant Director of Community Development. He will begin the position on April 6 and will oversee the Planning Division.

According to a press release from Therese Kosterman, Public Information Officer for the City of Beverly Hills, Ryan has worked for the city more than seven years. He is described as a strong communicator with a vast knowledge of planning issues and a problem-solver.

“Ryan’s extensive knowledge of planning and Beverly Hills and his leadership skills will be invaluable in working with our community to maintain our City’s unique brand and world-class stature,” said Community Development Director Susan Healy Keene.”

Gohlich has a degree in City and Regional Planning from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and obtained a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Woodbury University. Before working with the City of Beverly Hills, he worked as an associate planner at the private planning firm, Crawford, Multari & Clark Associates.
