HOLLYWOOD HILLS—Former California Governor and actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, dressed up as ‘The Terminator’ and scared tourists in Hollywood in an attempt to raise funds for an after school program for underprivileged children.
Schwarzenegger walked down Hollywood Boulevard talking to tourists and staring at other dressed characters. He even interrupted an Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonator that was posing for pictures with people in the streets. He then went to Madame Tussauds and posed as his own wax figure. “He looks real,” a woman is heard saying in Schwarzenegger’s promotional video, “Because I am,” he answers as the woman runs off screaming.
Shwarzenegger partnered with Omaze, a charity organization, and is offering people chances to attend the premiere of “Terminator: Genisys.” Every $10 entry to win the ticket will be donated to After-School All-Stars, an after school program that aims to “keep children safe and help them succeed in school and in life.”
“That was fun, and it was just me,” he says at the end of his promotional video that aired after his stunt in Hollywood, “Imagine what happens when we do this together. We’ll tell people we’ll be back, and all to benefit after school programs.”
