SAN DIEGO—SeaWorld will be conducting their monthly ASL day on Saturday, August 2. The event occurs the first Saturday of every month and provides assistive listening devices for select shows and attractions. Once ASL attendees enter the park, they can visit guest services to receive a schedule of all the narrations and interpreted shows that will be available.

SeaWorld also has devices and services available to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing on days outside of ASL Day. A Text Telephone Device (TTD) can be located at guest services. Show scripts are available for all shows and can be received from guest services as well. Sign Language Interpretation is also available for attendees, but they are expected to call a minimum of two weeks in advance.

To request an ASL interpretation call (619) 225 -3273 or email: SWC.ASL@SeaWorld.com. The park opens at 9:00 a.m. and closes at 10:00 p.m. The shows available on August 2 have yet to be announced on SeaWorld’s website.
