HOLLYWOOD—The secrets are starting to spill out on “Days of Our Lives” and the ramifications are going to be huge. Perhaps the biggest has to be the secret of Philip forging Victor’s letter coming to light. Yes, Philip and Kate had a conversation that was overheard by Stephanie and she was peeved. She confronted the mother and son, and with the snap of a finger, her relationship with Philip went up in smoke. However, Stephanie didn’t keep her mouth shut because she ran into Sarah and spilled some serious tea.
Sarah was flabbergasted by the reveal. She had been pushing her hubby to try to make things work with his brother Philip after the courts made its decision and now this drops in her lap. Sarah, Sarah, when will you learn that keeping secrets from Xander is the worst thing you can do, especially this one. Sarah and Stephanie agreed to stay mum to keep the civility between the brothers, but also to protect Belle and Stephanie who have compromised themselves by aligning with Philip not knowing he committed fraud.
Gotta be honest, Philip better stay clear of Stephanie because if he pisses her off, there is no telling what she will do. Let’s just say once Xander learns the truth blood might truly spill in ways not expected. There is still hope for Stephanie despite no longer being with Philip because she still has feelings for Alex who is very chummy with Joy.
Yes, Joy and Alex are a couple, but with Stephanie realizing the mistake she made, this complicates things a lot. Alex LOVED Stephanie, and despite sleeping together they called it quits, but Alex is really smitten with Joy, but if Stephanie tells him she wants to give it another go, I think he might break Joy’s heart.
I have to admit it was fun seeing Chanel slap Joy, even if it was acting, Chanel really wanted to do that as payback for Joy even though her character has now been killed off on “Body & Soul.” I wonder what the writers are planning to do now that Chanel and Johnny have this major hiccup in their romance. Will they rekindle or will a new face come into the picture to potentially woo Chanel and give Johnny a taste of his own medicine. Speaking of that soapy series, Hattie and Bonnie have rekindled their friendship, but Bonnie has taken a tumble down an elevator shaft that left her gravely injured.
Not sure who would want to hurt Bonnie, but at this point I think it is safe to say it’s not Hattie, she would be too obvious of a choice. With Leo exposing Kerry, somebody the audience doesn’t even know that well as Lady Whistleblower, it was a massive disappointment for me. Leo reunited with Javi who immediately took him to bed. Look, I know the writers want Leo to have a love interest, but how bout we hold him accountable for all his bad deeds and not continue to allow him to get away with things every 5 minutes. I love this partnership with Kerry and Gabi and I’m hoping Gabi will do all in her power to keep her cousin from this swindler.
Marlena is still holding out hope for John, not realizing that her husband is a goner, and that devastation will unfold on the soap as tribute is finally paid to the late and great actor Drake Hogestyn. Oh, that is going to be so sad to watch when it finally happens. Rachel and Brady are a mess after learning Rachel, the little Devil that she is, has gone missing. I don’t think Rachel was kidnapped, she purposely fled because she didn’t want to face the consequences of her actions, and who has her in their possession will be interesting to discover
I love this new pairing with Doug III and Holly. Those two have a bit of chemistry and now that she has helped him pay off his debt from those goons who beat him up, the two are getting even closer. It is starting to look like Tate will get a taste of his own medicine now that he’s knocked up Sophia, whose mother is determined to make her daughter have that baby at all costs.
We still have the ruse involving EJ and Arnold, who is posing as Rafe. Jada you are a cop how in the HELL can you not see something is off with your fiancé every time you try to kiss him, there is a deflection something is off. Something is off, something is very off and the clues are being thrown in your face every opportunity and you’re oblivious to them. Ugh the frustration America!
