Harris Marches In LGBTQ Parade

In her speech, Harris discussed her accomplishments including better pay for teachers, and later discussed anti-gun, anti-Trump, pro-abortion campaign. She took time to mention what she considered unique about her campaign stating:

“Our campaign spoke uniquely spoke to the experiences of black women and people of color, and their importance to the success and the future of this party.”

Harris also supported the LGBTQ community, in addition to gender neutrality, and Medicare for all during her campaign run.

According to Ballotpedia, the ballot access deadline for candidates in California is December 6.  The primary is scheduled for March 3, 2020, where all 53 U.S. House seats are up for grabs including 20-40 Senate seats and 80 state House seats.

Prior to Harris’s withdrawal from the Presidential race, Governor Gavin Newsom was scheduled to campaign for her in Iowa on December 14 and December 15. She kicked off her big for President of the United States in January 2019.  She reportedly raised $12 million in her first three months on the campaign trail, but cited a lack of funds as the primary reason for pulling out of the race.

“I am not a billionaire.  I can’t fund my own campaign,” said Harris.
