SANTA MONICA—The Santa Monica Police Department is currently asking for the public’s help to identify and locate a Hispanic male suspect involved in three sexual assaults in Santa Monica.

The SMPD reports that the suspect allegedly assaulted two victims on June 22 at 4:09 p.m. in the area of 14th and Santa Monica Boulevard. The third assault occurred on June 24 at 11 a.m. in the area of Second and Strand. In all cases, it’s been reported that the suspect rides his bicycle next to victims and, as he passes the victims, he grabs the victims’ buttocks, chest or genital area.

The man is believed to be a 20-to-30-year-old Hispanic male who is unshaven. He is approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. The suspect was dressed in a short-sleeved chef’s coat and pants with a small black and white checkered pattern at the time of the incident. He was possibly riding a 10-speed bicycle.
