SAN FRANCISCO—On June 20, the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) updated their website, and issued the following statement regarding the missing children:
“On June 20, 2025, Leonardo Henderson and Deandre Jones Jr were located safe and are reunited with family.”
On June 20, at 3:30 p.m., the San Francisco Police Department SFPD issued a press release requesting public assistance in locating two missing juveniles. The children are considered to be “At Risk”.
According to SFPD, Leonardo Henderson and Deandre Jones Jr. were last seen on June 19, between 11:30 p.m. and 12:00 a.m., around the 1400 block of Gateview Court on Treasure Island. They were believed to be heading toward San Francisco via the San Francisco Municipal Railway.
Deandre “Dray” Jones is described as being a 14-year-old male approximately 5’5” tall and 125 lbs. He has freckles and reddish-brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, with black skinny jeans and white Air Jordan shoes. He is known to frequent the 200 block of Taylor Street.
Henderson is described as a 10-year-old black male, approximately five feet tall and weighing just under 120 lbs. He lives with behavioral and psychological challenges and therefore is considered at risk. He was last seen sporting a dark green t-shirt with a NASA design on the front of it, with dark green jogging pants and white Addidas shoes with blue stripes on them.
Anyone who sees the children is encouraged to call 911 and report their location and a physical description. Tipsters with more information on their possible whereabouts should call the Missing Persons Line at 1-415-734-3070.
