HOLLYWOOD HILLS—Actor/musician Shane West has placed his villa-style home on the market for $1.995 million, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath home boasts 3,642 square feet. This includes a private guest house which can double as a recording studio. The Italian-influenced mansion sits high amidst the Hollywood Hills and encompasses views of the surrounding area. Raised ceilings and a newly renovated kitchen are one of the many attributes to this living space. The updated 1979 property includes a private gym, billiard room, and a salt water pool.

Shane West’s career gained steam after playing Landon Carter alongside Mandy Moore in the 2002 romantic drama “A Walk to Remember.” He currently stars in WGN’s fantasy drama “Salem” as John Alden, a man who defends innocent citizens accused of witchcraft in the Puritan town. Prior to this role, he spent four years playing Michael Bishop on CW’s “Nikita.”

West has a great passion for music—especially punk rock. He has fronted many bands, including Johnny Was and, recently, Germs.

Interested parties in West’s property can contact real estate agents Sherri Rogers and Antony Stellini from Nourmand and Associates, or Edward Faktorovich from Figure 8 Realty.
