CULVER CITY—On June 10, an attempted robbery took place, leaving a man injured. Police are still on the hunt for the suspect armed with a handgun.

After receiving a radio call around 11:20 p.m., police found the victim near Washington Boulevard and Hargis Street, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was admitted to a local hospital where he underwent surgery and is now in stable condition, as the press release states.

According to the victim, the suspect is male, black, 20-30 years old, wearing a black hoodie and a mask. He approached the victim, trying to steal his cellphone and other personal belongings. At some point during the scuffle, the suspect fired a shot and fled the scene.
