WEST HOLLYWOOD– On Monday, January, 20 approximately 4:30 a.m., a shooting took place near Fairfax Avenue and West Hollywood borders that left one man dead. The news was announced in a press released by the Los Angeles Police Department.

The unidentified victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he died from gunshot injuries.

Witnesses described the victim wearing a red hoodie. After the shooting he attempted to flee north towards onward traffic seeking help.

According to reports the LAPD investigators discovered blood evidence obtained from the crime scene that trailed into the alley parallel to Fairfax Avenue where the crime scene allegedly took place. Officials are still seeking information on the motive behind the shooting.
