SHERMAN OAKS—A six vehicle collision left four people critically injured on October 27. The collision shut down the northbound San Diego Freeway in Sherman Oaks for some time.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to the call at approximately 1:47 a.m.
All lanes of the freeway were closed south of the 101. One of the lanes opened again at 3:00 a.m. and another opened shortly after. According to the California Highway Patrol, all lanes were re-opened to the public at approximately 5:23 a.m.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
