SANTA MONICA—A gala dinner will be hosted by the Santa Monica History Museum on September 21 to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Donald Douglass Cruisers “First Around the World Flight” which put the city on the map.

The chair of this event is Susan Gabriel-Potter and the master of ceremony will be Eddie Guerboian.

The event will take place at the Casa del Mar Hotel with cocktails starting at 5 p.m. It will be followed by a silent auction, dinner, and entertainment. Reservations for the gala dinner are available at $150 each.

Beverly Hoskinson and Angel Flight West will both be honored at the event. Philanthropist and former president and CEO of Morley Builders, Mark Benjamin will receive a memorial tribute. Producer Larry Balmagia will narrate the history of the well-known flight.
