BEVERLY HILLS—The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office revealed that a woman entered a no contest plea for attacking outside a parking lot of a Pavilion’s supermarket.

Jamika Marie Abair, 24, of Long Beach pleaded no contest to one count of assault with a deadly weapon, a vehicle, and admitted causing great bodily injury to the victim. The victim had his leg severed after he was pinned against a railing. Abair was immediately sentenced to 2 years in state prison.

On May 12, 2017, the defendant got into an altercation with the victim outside the parking lot in the 9400 block of Olympic Boulevard, prosecutors noted. The confrontation ended with Abair driving a vehicle toward the victim, pinning him against a railing and severing one of his legs below the knee.

The incident was captured on video where the victim was seen questioning Abair about littering. In the video, the man shouted, “Why do you got to f**king litter?” Abair circled the lot at least two times. At one point, the man shoved shopping carts in front of the car.

Abair was taken into custody by officer from the Beverly Hills Police Department on May 13, 2017, also arrested was Sarah Gabriella Huerta, 21, of Long Beach. Huerta pled not guilty to one count to the accessory after the fact. The case was investigated by the Beverly Hills Police Department.
